Daniel Fontoura
Daniel Fontoura was born in São Paulo, Brazil in 1986, and currently lives and works in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Since 2008, he has shown his works in group exhibitions at galleries and art fairs in cities including São Paulo, New York, Las Vegas, Miami, London and Paris. His first solo exhibition was at Colorida Art Gallery, Lisbon (Portugal), in September of 2009. His photographs are not digitally altered. Daniel seeks to put the observer in the midlle of a game of perceptions between what is “real” or not inside the image, stimulating a reflection on the very own illusory nature of the photographic image. Daniel is the Director of Dog.Art in Brazil, the inspiration for Dog Art for Old Friends. The statue on the left was his creation for their 2013 event. Can't wait to see what he creates for us! Reflective
